About Me

I am a teacher who works with individuals with disabilities. I specialize in working with individuals with Autism. I have just completed a Master’s degree program in Secondary Special Education and Transition Services at The George Washington University, so you could say that I am a professional on the topic of transitioning youth with disabilities. My goal is to teach and improve the lives of individuals with disabilities. I do the best that I can to prepare youth with disabilities for life after high school. I also work hard to support families with the transition process. In the past, I have worked as a transition coordinator, special education teacher, para-professional, substitute teacher, tutor, and before/after-school care worker. In my free time, I like to volunteer when I can to help people.

I created this resource as part of a project while at GWU and hope it is helpful for youth and families. I  designed this web-page and the resources included to be youth and family friendly.
